| The Sonett site is my tribute to the SAAB Sonett III as well as a personal
showcase for my work and for my cars. My name is Chris Moberg and I have had an
affection (some might say affliction) for these cars for the past 20 odd
years. Throughout this time I have owned a dozen or so examples, and at present the
count is five. My cars span the range from stock to full
race. Those individuals familiar with my online postings will recognize the cars as
Yellow Thunder, GT-4 Racer, Baja Red Twin #1 Baja Red Twin #2 and the un-named one (new to
me in '98) Both a passion for driving and a love for working on Sonetts is reflected within the site. I think you will find the Sonett site somewhat eclectic, with some areas featuring pretty faces and others showcasing asphalt warriors. There is a different story to be found in each area. My aim is to make your visit not only visually rewarding but also informationally rich. I worked sporadically on this site through 1998, and I will continue to maintain and enhance it in the coming year. Suggestions are always welcome. In August, I traveled to Hilton Head South Carolina for the 1998 Saab Owners Convention with Yellow Thunder. The convention was very enjoyable overall, and it was a pleasure to meet with friends new and old. Yellow Thunder was "successful" netting a second place at the autocross and a second place in the concours. In the fall, my Sonetts and I moved to Standish Maine. "We" are all very happy in our new home. Four of the cars (Yellow Thunder, Baja Red 2, GT-4, and un-named) can be seen in their new home below
